I am one of those weird people, I LOVE the smell of gasoline. When I heard Snif had a gasoline scent on their secret menu No Noses, I had to have it. I first purchased the 10 ml size of this fragrance and within a few days of wearing it, I went ahead and purchased the full size.
One of the reasons why I love Snif fragrances is how unique they are. Snif describes Dead Dinosaur an “Not a new car scent, but your first car scent. An ode to the addictive smell of gasoline, garage hangs, and simpler times.” I cannot agree more with this description. The notes include gasoline accord, pink pepper, ginger, magnolia flower, orris, davana, cedarwood, peru balsam and amber woods.
Dead Dinosaur gives me all the nostalgia, in the best way. It reminds me of the 90s and early 2000s riding around in an old car with a strong air freshener in the wind. I love wearing this scent on its own or layering with Snif’s Natural Talent, which adds a splash of fruity and floral.
This scent is perfect for wearing on a warm summer day. If you are nervous about trying out a gasoline scent, the other notes do a nice job of balancing out the scent where it isn’t too overpowering. The more I wear this scent, the more addictive it becomes and I catch myself taking a big whiff of my wrist because I just can’t get enough of it.
Try out a small size of Dead Dinosaur or try all of the scents on the No Noses secret scents with the secret menu sample set.
