Bliss Block Star Sunscreen Review

Bliss is a cruelty-free skincare brand with a lot of vegan options. They recently launched their Block Star Invisible Daily Sunscreen ($22) which is also vegan. It is available at Target and the Bliss website. Here is my review of the Bliss Block Star sunscreen.

Swatch of the Bliss Block Star sunscreen

Even though the sunscreen appears to have a slight tint, it blends out to be invisible on my skin tone. This product contains silicone, which helps blur imperfections on the skin. The texture reminds me of a pore filling primer. It also smells strongly of lavender but the smell dwindled down a few minutes after applying it.

This sunscreen did not work great with the makeup I normally wear. I experienced separation where I normally don’t with my everyday sunscreen. In my opinion, this sunscreen would be best worn on no makeup days because it does make the skin look slightly more perfected.

I am definitely going to continue using this sunscreen on days where I’m not doing a full face of makeup. If I am going to be wearing sunscreen anyway, I would rather use ones like this where it makes my skin look a little bit better even on days when I’m not wearing foundation or concealer.
